Mango Sorbet

Ingredients

 

- 6 mangos

 

- 1/4 cup water

 

- 1 1/2 cup sugar

 

- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice

 

- 2 tablespoons lemon zest

 

-1/4 teaspoon chili powder

 (if desired

Instructions

 

- Add diced mango to a blender along with 1/4 cup of water.

 

- Blend on high until smooth.

 

- Transfer the blended mango to a medium bowl. Add 1 1/2 cup of sugar to the mango

and whisk together until the sugar is completely dissolved.

 

- Add in 1/2 cup lime juice and 2 tablespoons of lemon zest and whisk until fully combined.

 

- Add in chili powder at this time if extra spice is desired.

 

- Place the mango sorbet into the freezer and freeze for about 3 hours or overnight.
